Weekly Watch Guide: May 6-12

Finally! A WNBA game on the calendar, albeit preseason, to join all of that NBA action. Again, it’s all the various games, every week, that you can watch online or on TV.

Finally! A WNBA game on the calendar, albeit preseason, to join all of that NBA action. Again, it’s all the various games, every week, that you can watch online or on TV. We put it all in one place, every Monday, to make your life a little easier.

NBN’S TOP PICKS

Here are the games we’re most excited for this week:

NBA – 1 Golden State at 4 Houston, Game 4 (Monday at 9:30 p.m. on TNT)

Every game of this series has been razor close thus far, and the home team has narrowly escaped each outing. It would take a lot for Houston to overcome a 3-1 deficit with only one possible game left in Houston (although it has been done against the Warriors), so protecting home court to force a best-of-three will be massive. In Game 3’s OT thriller, James Harden had 41 points, his high for the series, and made some massive shots that the Rockets needed. If the Warriors have allowed the Harden floodgates to open, this could certainly be knotted at 2-2 heading back to Oakland.

NBA – 2 Denver at 3 Portland, Game 6 (Thursday, Time TBD on ESPN)

This has been another fantastic series. Every time these teams have taken the court, it has been remarkably obvious how evenly matched they are. The defense has been good, there have been some incredible offensive performances, and two of the league’s most undervalued players in Lillard and Jokic have had unbelievable and game-changing moments. Even if the winner will be the underdog in the next round, this has been the best series on the Conference Semifinals, and it is providing must-watch basketball.
