Duke men’s basketball cancelled its remaining non-conference games, citing the pandemic.
Alabama men’s head coach Nate Oats questioned Duke’s motives for cancelling it’s non-conference schedule and remained steadfast that college basketball should be played.
The NBA announced eight players tested positive for COVID-19 in its second week of testing, a drop from 48 last week.
The New York Liberty won the No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft via the league’s draft lottery, with the Dallas Wings, Atlanta Dream and Indiana Fever selecting after them, in that order. This will be the Liberty’s second-straight top pick.
