KD & Draymond Sit down Recap & More

Recently, a sit down between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green hit the internet, and it instantly blew up. In their conversation, KD and Draymond went through what led to the Golden State Warriors breaking up after the 2018-19 season.

KD and Draymond agreed during the talk, which was posted by Bleacher Report, that Warriors management mishandled the 2018 argument between the two that ultimately contributed to the team breaking up.

“It wasn’t the argument,” Durant said to Green. “It was the way that everybody – Steve Kerr – acted like it didn’t happen. (Golden State president and general manager) Bob Myers tried to just discipline you [Green] and think that would put the mask over everything.”

That wasn’t the only topic the two covered. KD and Draymond also covered Durant’s time in college, his views on social media, why he left Oklahoma City for Golden State, and so much more.

The Full Court Sound Off podcast, with Solomon and guest Chris Haynes, discussed the conversation between the two NBA superstars in this week’s episode.

The duo commented on the oddity of Green talking publicly about Kerr and Myers, who are still his employers. Green knows he has to go back to Golden State, right? Why is he rocking the boat? Will this impact how the Warriors perform this season?

The sit down between KD and Draymond inspired Solomon and Chris to talk about what other one-on-one sit downs they’d like to see. Solomon really wants to see LeBron James and Skip Bayless come together, because he wants to see the world burn and see Bayless squirm.

Switching gears, the two also discussed the best two-sport football and basketball players in preparation for football season being right around the corner. Chris came with a few players in mind, highlighting Julius Peppers in particular as an incredible athlete who could more than hold his own in both sports, but he also made sure to make mention of Charlie Ward.

Who would you like to see in a one-on-one sit down? Who are some of the best two-sport basketball athletes of all time? Feel free to let us know what you think on Twitter and Instagram.
