Weekly Watch Guide: Feb. 25-March 3

NCAA, NBA, FIBA + MORE! All the games you can watch this week on TV in the US and through streaming!

All the NBA, DI Men’s and Women’s, FIBA, and other various games, every week, that you can watch online or on TV. We put it all in one place, every Monday, to make your life a little easier.

NBN’S TOP PICKS

Here are the games we’re most excited for this week:

NBA – Boston at Toronto (Tuesday at 8 p.m. on TNT)

Toronto is in a battle for the top seed in the East, while Boston is fighting for home-court advantage in the first round, and every game counts at this point. These are two of the best teams the conference has to offer, not to mention they’re not the biggest fans of one another. This should be one of the better games in this week’s NBA slate.

MCBB – #16 Kansas State at #15 Kansas (Monday at 9 p.m. on ESPN)

Kansas has ruled the Big 12 for 14 years, but that streak is in serious jeopardy this year. After getting slaughtered in Lubbock over the weekend, the Jayhawks cannot afford to lose another game to a title contender. Kansas State is in the driver’s seat in the conference, and a win would be huge for an outright championship. The Wildcats won the first matchup in Manhattan a few weeks ago, but playing in Lawrence is a different animal. And did I mention these schools don’t like each other? This is a must-watch game.

MCBB – #10 Marquette at Villanova (Wednesday at 9 p.m. on FS1 and fuboTV)

These have been the two titans in the Big East all year, and the conference title is going to come down to the two of them. Marquette barely edged a 66-65 victory in Milwaukee in the first meeting, but it could be a different ballgame in Philadelphia. The Golden Eagles have won four straight, and Villanova has been struggling some of late, but Jay Wright isn’t going to let his team come out flat for this one. It’s the Big East’s best battling with everything on the line. What more could you want?

MCBB – #13 LSU at Alabama (Saturday at 12 p.m. on ESPN)

Alabama is reeling, a three-game skid in mid-February sending it down to the bubble. LSU just experienced two huge wins against Kentucky and Tennessee and is in serious contention for the SEC Title. The Crimson Tide have played their best games all season against ranked opponents, though, either winning or giving their opponent fits in each matchup. It’s Alabama’s best chance to impress the committee before the end of the regular season. A team with something to play for is always a dangerous one. You can expect fireworks in this one.

MCBB – #4 Kentucky at #7 Tennessee (Saturday at 2 p.m. on CBS)

The first matchup was a blowout in Kentucky’s favor, and Tennessee dropped another game since to LSU. But this game is in Knoxville, and the Vols are much too talented to get run out of the gym at home. The top of the SEC is a three-way mess at the moment, but we might get a clearer picture after this game. Either Tennessee regains some of the momentum it had going into the first Kentucky game, or the Wildcats solidify themselves as undoubtedly one of the premier teams in the country.

MCBB – #12 Nevada at Utah State (Saturday at 8:30 p.m. on CBSSN)

These are the only two Mountain West teams with a shot at at-large tournament bids, with Nevada almost definitely in and Utah State sitting precariously on the bubble. The biggest hole in Utah State’s resume is the lack of a great win, and this is its only real chance at rectifying that. Nevada has had some issues lately, losing its second game of the season Wednesday to San Diego State and needing a late surge to escape Fresno State’s upset bid Saturday. This is the most difficult game remaining on Nevada’s schedule, and last week’s loss opened the door for the Aggies to steal the conference title if they can win this game. The Wolfpack ran through Utah State 72-49 on Jan. 2, but these are different teams now, and playing in Logan is much different from playing at home.

WCBB – #5 Mississippi State at #14 South Carolina (Sunday at 2 p.m. on ESPN2)

Heading into the week, these two teams sit one and two atop the SEC, with the Bulldogs holding a one-game lead. The reigning national runners-up won the first meeting in Starkville 89-74, but that was in mid-January. Both teams will have a couple of games this week before this meeting, so the situation could be different by Sunday. But this is the final game of the regular season for both sides, and if there’s a one or zero game difference between them by the time they play, this game will be for the SEC title. Columbia will be rocking.

WCBB – #6 Oregon at #21 Arizona State (Sunday at 3 p.m. on PACN)

The Pac-12 has been strong at the top all year, and Arizona State is going to host two of the conference’s best this week, with Oregon coming to town on Sunday and Oregon State heading to Tempe on Friday. The Ducks hold a one-game lead for the crown right now, and this is probably their hardest test remaining. There will be a couple of games this week before the showdown in Arizona, but the bid for an outright title, or title at all if things go haywire, will likely come down to this game. The Sun Devils have a murderer’s row to close the regular season, but they should come focused for the regular season finale with a chance to spoil Oregon’s title hopes and another notch on their belt to show the committee.
