NBN’S TOP PICKS

Here are the games we’re most excited for this week:

NBA – 7 Orlando at 2 Toronto, Game 5 (Tuesday at 7 p.m. on NBATV)

Orlando stole the first game of the series and jumped out to a quick lead, but the Raptors responded with a convincing Game 2 performance, shutting down D.J. Augustin, whose 25 points were huge for the Magic in Game 1. Toronto claimed victory again in Game 3, but it wasn’t easy. Orlando gave the East’s No. 2 seed a fight on its home court, but it wasn’t enough, and the Raptors won, 98-93. This series could get out of hand quickly, but Orlando has the tools to push Toronto to the brink. The question is, can it do it?

NBA – 7 San Antonio at 2 Denver, Game 5 (Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. on NBATV)

This is shaping up to be the biggest upset on the first round, but there’s still plenty of time for Denver to come back. DeMar DeRozan and Derrick White have given the Spurs some important scoring, and LaMarcus Aldridge has been doing his thing in the paint. Nikola Jokic has put up decent numbers, but the Nuggets may even more from him to advance. All of the first three games were decided by 10 or fewer points. This series could come down to the wire, and every game is going to be worth watching.
