Weekly Watch Guide: April 1-7

All the NBA, remaining DI Men’s and Women’s, high school, and other various games, every week, that you can watch online or on TV. We put it all in one place, every Monday, to make your life a little easier.

NBN’S TOP PICKS

Here are the games we’re most excited for this week:

NBA – Boston at Indiana (Thursday at 8 p.m. on ESPN)

The Celtics narrowly won last week’s matchup, 114-112, and have closed the gap for fourth in the East on the Pacers. Both teams have a handful of games before this one, so the standings could look different by the time this rematch rolls around. But barring a significant change in fortune, this game will be huge in determining which of these teams gets home-court advantage in their likely first-round series.

NBA – Portland at Denver (Thursday at 10:30 p.m. on ESPN)

A few games separate these teams right now, and there will be a few games for both sides before this meeting. But this will be the first of back-to-back games between these squads, and the standings could look much different if Portland can pull them both out. On the line is the Northwest Division title and a top seed in the West. With how tight the conference is, any advantage in the postseason is huge. This will be a crucial game for Denver to maintain its position in the top two or Portland’s comeback to snag it from the Nuggets.

MCBB & WCBB – ALL OF THEM

Yet again, if you love basketball, you should be watching every since college game in March you possibly can. Men’s, women’s, NCAA Tournament, NIT, doesn’t matter. It’s all do-or-die basketball with huge emotions, and we’re coming to the end of all the postseason tournaments. You can’t miss this.

College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships (Thursday at 9 p.m. on ESPN)

Relive some of your favorite men’s and women’s college basketball players of the last four years as they fly high and shoot from distance in their final NCAA hoorays. Every year, this event provides a good, often goofy close to the college basketball season. It’s a nice bow to end the year on, and if you have the time, check it out, especially if you’re a fan of a team with a talented senior or two.
