Sean May scored a game-high 26 points on a ridiculous 10-of-11 shooting from the field, plus 10 rebounds to complete the double-double. Raymond Felton and Rashad McCants were the only double-figure scorers for North Carolina, while Luther Head led Illinois with 21 points.
